Principle
Dual-Function Grinding Head with Adjustable Arm
The MultiFlex features a rotating grinding head with dual functionality. One side carries a medium-grit abrasive wheel (150mm diameter) for aggressive material removal, while the opposite side can be fitted with brushes for deburring, edge rounding, or surface finishing. The grinding head rotates 180° on demand, allowing operators to switch between operations without changing tools.
The movable cantilever arm features dual-position adjustment with integrated weight compensation, enabling smooth, controlled movement across the workpiece. This ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue during extended use while maintaining precise control. Adjustable side panels enhance operator safety and can be configured to accommodate larger workpieces up to 1300mm Ă— 800mm.
Vacuum Workpiece Retention System
A dedicated vacuum adsorption platform (300mm Ă— 250mm vacuum area) securely holds workpieces in place during processing. Powered by a 1.5 kW vacuum motor, the system provides stable retention for parts as thin as 1mm, ensuring consistent positioning and eliminating workpiece movement during hand-guided operations. The worktable is positioned at an ergonomic 960mm height for comfortable operator access.
Versatile Processing Capability
MultiFlex efficiently removes burrs from parts produced by stamping, shearing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and similar processes. It delivers clean, consistent R-radius edges (R0.1-0.3) on all edges and internal features, including holes, slots, and cutouts. The hand-guided approach allows operators to apply varying pressure and angles as needed for complex geometries that automated systems struggle to process effectively.
