Flipper
Finishing both sides of a sheet metal part has always meant stopping the line, flipping parts by hand, and refeeding them — a bottleneck that slows output and wears out operators. The Evotec Flipper eliminates that entirely. Positioned between two Evotec finishing machines, the Flipper automatically inverts an entire batch of parts mid-process, so deburring, slag removal, and edge rounding are completed on both sides in a single uninterrupted run. The result is dramatically higher throughput, consistent quality on every surface, and a line that one operator can manage with ease.
- Full double-sided finishing in one pass – Deburrs, removes slag, and rounds edges on both sides without breaking the production flow or requiring manual intervention.
- Three width configurations – Available in 1000 mm, 1300 mm, and 1600 mm to match your existing line width and part range – no compromise on capacity.
- Universal Evotec machine compatibility – Integrates seamlessly with any Evotec deburring machine in your current or future line.
- Unrivalled batch throughput – Batch-wise loading and unloading keeps parts moving continuously, delivering output speeds that manual turning simply cannot match.
- Single-operator ergonomics – Eliminates the physical strain of lifting and turning heavy sheet metal. One person manages the full dual-sided production cycle from an intuitive HMI touchscreen.

Build the line that fits your workload
The Flipper is engineered to integrate directly into your production line, positioned between two Evotec deburring machines. With one finishing machine on each side of the Flipper, parts are processed, automatically turned, and re-processed in a single continuous inline pass – eliminating idle time, removing manual handling entirely, and delivering the throughput that heavy batch loads and complex workpiece requirements demand. Every Flipper ships as standard with an infeed and outfeed conveyor, extending the total running span of the line so that longer workpieces are fully supported and more parts can be in-flight simultaneously during high-volume runs. These can be removed if equivalent conveyor extensions are already in place on-site. For operations processing stainless steel, aluminium, or mixed-metal batches at scale, pairing the Flipper line with the Hydro Dust 2.0 wet extraction system ensures explosion-safe, continuous operation throughout the full production shift.
